Where East Lake Drive meets the water
88 East Lake has been a family treasure since the late 1970s, that the family is now sharing with the world. It's in a great location close to beaches, town, and all the other wonderful spots Montauk has to offer.
The main floor holds a queen bedroom, full bath, open kitchen, and living and dining rooms wrapped in sliding glass doors, so the lake, and Montauk's sunsets, are visible from nearly every room. Upstairs, three more bedrooms (two king, one queen) share a second full bath; two of the upstairs bedrooms open onto a private deck that faces the water, a favorite spot for a quiet morning coffee.
Downstairs, a wraparound deck runs the length of the main floor with a gas grill and outdoor seating, and there's a separate outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. In spring, the cherry tree off the deck blooms so hard it turns the whole corner of the yard pink.
